This is our second stay at Cayton Village Club Site and once again we found it really (really) good. The wardens and staff all worked hard and everyone we spoke too were really pleasant, friendly and helpful. The site is large (2 camping areas) and was full over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, but it was unbelievably quiet. There is a snack shack on site which serves take-away food in the morning and evening, apart from Saturday night when the Fish and Chip van comes to site. The site has a shop which stocks some provisions and Gas and accessories (we got a camping toaster which is brilliant) and literally just outside the site entrance is a bus stop. 3-4 miles either direction gets you quickly to Scarborough and/or Filey. The beach at Cayton Bay is walkable as is the village which although small has pubs, provisions stores, church and post office and also a fish and chip stop. Now, what am I saying?? Don't read the above as we want to keep this site to ourselves!! But if that's too late, then this site is one of the best - so book it, relax and enjoy. CAMP.
