As always, enjoyed our time at Castelton. This year's winter wardens have excelled in friendliness, even over last years, just great, helpful, couldn't ask for better. The site as ever was clean and well organised, inspite of being full. My only comment, is that the site, sort of doesn't live up these days to its luxury status.  In my view, compared to some of the sites more recently renovated, the facilities could do with some updating, especially the toilet blocks, which now now look a bit tired ? That said, the drying room should be replicated on other "walking" based club sites (Chatsworth, for example) here having dry boots etc each day is just just welcome beyond comprehension.
