Castleton Club Campsite is situated within a bowl at the heart of the Peak National Park and boasts beautiful views. One of our many Derbyshire campsites, this site is ideally suited for all interests and seasons, with each pitch being all-weather and local shops open all year round. The Christmas period is particularly spectacular, with town streets awash with festive lights and late night shopping for those last minute treats. There are a variety of pubs to choose from in the local village as well.
Castleton Club Campsite has easy access to all kinds of fun outdoor activities for the family to enjoy, such as rock climbing, potholing, biking and horse riding. The area offers endless lovely landscapes to stroll in at your leisure, including the dramatic Winnatt's Pass, Mam Tor and Ladybower Reservoir. The village of Castleton, dominated by the ruins of William the Conqueror's Peveril Castle from which it gets its name, is a convenient half a mile away. It's hard to imagine another campsite that can offer such a selection of natural and historical features. All in all, the entire area promises an unforgettable holiday getaway.

Fab site in a lovely setting. We always choose sites within 15 mins of pubs, restaurants etc and Castleton did not disappoint with choice and quality. Site itself was so well maintained and equipped.

As expected, a fabulous site. The site staff were great, friendly and helpful. We have recently re-joined the CC Club and know that the sites are always first class. However, given that we are in a European motorhome with a habitation door on the opposite side to UK vans it... Show more

This was our second visit to Castleton and the site remains one of our favourites. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the facilities as expected on a CAMC site. Some road noise and Saturday afternoon/evening it did sound a little like a race track, but it didn't spoil our visit. Castleton... Show more

As others have stated, great site, good clean facilities, close to Castleton and other destinations. We were unlucky and had 40 mph winds, the noise of the trees and nesting birds in the high wind plus the movement of the van meant we came home a night early... Show more
