Castleton as a village is great, with a good amount of nice pubs, tea rooms and shops to get your bits & pieces. Being able to walk into the village easily from the site makes for a main attraction. We ate in various pubs, all served good grub and a nice selection of ales. Good walks are available from the site both locally and further a field, local attractions around Castleton are also available, we visited the caverns & castle. The only slight let down was the toilet block which is in need of a refurb which we believe is happening in the New Year.
