Caravan club booking system

HI, No gripes with Castleton, lovely site. Gripe is caravan club members book lots of sites then cancel last minute, what a shame , what a bore ,looking around for a place to stay, then luckily getting on last minute,. Definitely won't be a member of caravan club next year,xxx

That’s not a site review but a moan about the booking system and, as such, is not appropriate here.

What proof do you have of the cancellations? People cannot cancel at the last minute as you say because of the 72 hour cut off and the club monitors late cancellations.

I have not visited castleton but I agree with their gripe about booking system try getting a 8 night stay at popular sites in summer no way because sites are fully booked for one night useually Saturday . Personally I think should be a minimum  stay at weekends
