A very beautiful location
I just had a week on Castleton Site and thought it was perfect. Great access, well-spaced pitches, most very near to the shower block (which, incidentally I found to be nice and warm despite it being zero degrees outside, clean and not "tired" at all as someone else described them). A short walk to the village and some great walks nearby, friendly wardens, peace & quiet, what more could you possibly want?
