Why stay here ...

OFFERS*: 10% OFF Autumn Getaways | Kids for £1 (aged 5-17) | Under 5s stay free | £5 refundable deposit

Castleton Club Campsite is situated within a bowl at the heart of the Peak National Park and boasts beautiful views. One of our many Derbyshire campsites, this site is ideally suited for all interests and seasons, with each pitch being all-weather and local shops open all year round. The Christmas period is particularly spectacular, with town streets awash with festive lights and late night shopping for those last minute treats. There are a variety of pubs to choose from in the local village as well.

Castleton Club Campsite has easy access to all kinds of fun outdoor activities for the family to enjoy, such as rock climbing, potholing, biking and horse riding. The area offers endless lovely landscapes to stroll in at your leisure, including the dramatic Winnatt's Pass, Mam Tor and Ladybower Reservoir. The village of Castleton, dominated by the ruins of William the Conqueror's Peveril Castle from which it gets its name, is a convenient half a mile away. It's hard to imagine another campsite that can offer such a selection of natural and historical features. All in all, the entire area promises an unforgettable holiday getaway.

Fab location, very pricey!

Caravan and Motorhome club site Castleton in Derbyshire is lovely. The staff, as with all their sites, are great. However, the cost for two nights on a pitch with awning was over £86. Apparently they have dynamic pricing, not a favourite with concert-goers, and frankly not with me either. The... Show more

Fantastically located site

This site is immaculately kept, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. We enjoyed pie and peas from Po Man, fish and chips and pastries and coffee from visiting vans over the weekend. The main plus for us is the proximity to Castleton, an easy 10 minute walk to... Show more

Outstanding

Absolutely perfect 👌

This was the most perfect campsite for this kind of active trip. The site is small, very well kept, very clean and quiet. Only 0.6m walk to the centre of Castleton which was perfect for the kids. There’s no clubhouse but as we were so busy doing things, it really didn’t matter. Kids... Show more

Castleton, the wardens were welcoming and kept the site spotless. Our pitch was a decent size and level, which is a bonus. The site is about a 5 minute walk into the village where there is an abundance of lovely pubs and independent shops and the views are breathtaking. Castleton is... Show more
