Peaceful and relaxing
Can’t fault this site! After breaking down in our new to us camper van as soon as we arrived, the wardens couldn’t have been more helpful. We eventually had to send for breakdown assistance and as there was little or no Wi-Fi nor phone signal we were thankfully given access to the phone in the reception.
The site itself is wonderfully quiet and peaceful with an emphasis on local wildlife. The walks from the site itself are wonderful and scenic with good access to the Carsington water reservoir. The dog walk around the site is fabulous with lovely views over the water in places and is good and long with a number of bins at various points.
The whole site is beautifully maintained and kept spotlessly clean, a credit to the hardworking and cheerful wardens who we couldn’t thank enough for their assistance during our stay
