A Wonderful Site.
We've just returned from another fantastic holiday at Carradale Bay. The sun even came out to make what has to be one of the best sites on the West coast of Scotland even better.
Access down the small road to the North can be challenging in a big van or towing due to it being single track with passing places and some mean hills and corners so an easier route is from Campbeltown which gives you the opportunity so stock up on shopping (@15 miles) and fuel at the garage, Co-Op or Tesco . There is a small well stocked post office/shop in Carradale for the essentials and a few treats.
The site itself has very generous pitches and the site owner Colin is very helpful. Well maintained and daily cleaned shower/toilets add to the pleasant settings to make this site stand out.
Views of Arran , a clean beach ,walks and safe bathing make this place a haven for families and couples who like the countryside.
Highly recommended.
