Excellent site in a great location.
We didn't find the access to the site nearly as bad as some others have. The road from Campbeltown to Carradale is perfectly OK for any competent/confident driver and the site access road wasn't too bad. (The road North to Claonaig is not one I'd recommend if towing or in a large motorhome, however - single track much of the way and, although quiet, you'd be up the swanee if you met something coming the other way at the wrong point).
The site itself is well laid out and with spacious pitches. The beach it fronts on to is glorious. Excellent for walking dogs. Several good walks in the area also. Good pubs and cafes nearby. Friendly owner and locals. A good toilet/ shower building. Midge free (for us at least!) Wifi is limited (pitch near the amenities building if you're relying on it, pitches further away won't get it. Having said which it is really cheap so nothing much losy if you find it doesn't work for you. ) Phone reception (on all networks) is 2G only. Nearest petrol is in Campbeltown. Above all this site (outside of school holidays, at least!) is tranquil. We will be back.
