This site was recommended to us by some very valued friends, if they say it's good... It's good! And.. they were right. We had a 6 night stay during late August 2015, there was just my wife and myself in our caravan. The toilets / showers were exceptionally clean and modern, staff very friendly too.. the chip van calls on Saturday and Tuesday at about 19:30.. Proper chips I say.. Proper chips.... Carnon Downs is near to Truro and also very central for the majority of Cornwall, especially if you're National Trust visitors to the area.. The site is directly adjacent to the main A road, it starts to get a wee bit noisy from about 05:00, but so what? I am actually a very light sleeper.
