Great spot for couples
We booked to stay at Camelford for two nights in our motorhome. The site has 13 hardstanding pitches and the rest are grass.
On arrival I was greeted by Mick, the Site Manager, and had a very informative chick in process. We were on pitch 50 and found the site had several service points and a motorhome service point.
The site is easy to get in to from the A39 and we didn't hear any road noise during our stay.
The facilities are quite dated but they were well heated and immaculate. There was a small dog walk at the entrance to the site but I walked up the lane with our dog. You can walk in to Camelford from the site and there are serval handy shops and pubs. For £20 a night for a couple in May I would certainly return.
We had a trip to Tintagel, Widemouth Bay and Bude in the two days we were there.
Mick and Pat deserve a special mention. What an absolute credit to the club. They made us feel very welcome and were very accommodating. Thank you to them as we would use this site again due to their hospitality.
