Third time we have stayed here in 8 weeks, just bought our vw campervan. Great place to stay as a base camp, with easy access onto the A39 and beyond. We pitched on grass using our levellers with no problems. Staff friendly and informative. Facilities clean and good Covid systems in place. We only stayed for one night at a time as handy for us whilst travelling down or back from the lower parts of Cornwall. Would stay longer if could. Great for visiting Roughtor, Brown Willy Tor if you like walking. The old Davidstow airfield was a great find for exploring. WiFi is an issue on-site, only available in a small radius around the upper part of the site. We have just bought a mobile router £70 and data SIM card PAY go and tried it there and had no problems with WiFi or internet connection. Overall, a nice place to stay, well run and clean. Will definitely be back. Well done to the two sets of wardens.😀
