Wooded Haven for Cambridge
Cambridge is the obvious attraction here with regular buses in the city. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk, just aim for the Robin Hood pub and its just past it.
Site is heavily wooded and pitches allocated.I was pitched in one of the cul de sacs which made it very quiet but probably would not have recieved much sun though. The Robin Hood pub is handy for a drink and meal, but if you walk remember to take a torch if like us walking back,as the path in Lime Kiln Road fairly narrow.
Visited Duxford and this made for an interesting if not tiring day out.
Attractions are plenty in Cambridge along with the atmospheric real ale pubs (The Eagle,Free Press to name two) whilst the wife can shop.
