Anglesey First Timer
We were looking for a peaceful site somewhere we had not visited before typed in our preferred dates and up popped Cae Mawr, read the reviews and that was good enough.
We booked for a week in our caravan found it strange that we could get on this lovely site then realized it had no facilities block this is not an issue to us as we tend to use our van facilities most of the time, I am guessing this may put some people off booking this site though.
Upon arrival we were met by a lovely warden who explained everything in detail she even directed us to a lovely pitch on grass No 28 this is down on the bottom part of the site and it is nice and level with great afternoon sun.
There are plenty of things to do including great walks and even better beaches, if you are into water sports especially paddle boarding this is a great place to visit.
The village of Benllech is about a 2 mile walk down the road with pubs and places to eat including a Tesco express for essentials, there is also a bus that runs at the end of the street about a 15 min walk away (No62).
One thing to mention is that currently all rubbish can only be disposed at the top of the site in the main bins, no issue as you pass it on your way out of the site in the car.
Overall a great stay and would definitely return, I would say that if you require a peaceful stay this is a great place for you.
Thanks to the club for making us feel welcome to Wales.
