A pretty little site that’s good for visiting Wellington which is a nice town and also Taunton by bus which had a good tourist office and an excellent free museum. There are good rural and semi-rural walks from the site as well as cycling opportunities. The only downside is there is a bit of urban noise but it’s quite at night. The local roads are busy and there is a bit of traffic on the lane that runs past the site. For this reason, its best to avoid pitches 1, 2 & 3. There were major building works opposite the site which added to the noise during our visit where a new Lidl is being built. Wellington has a Waitrose and Asda within walking distance so is well served with supermarkets.
