Great overnight stop off

Stayed at Cadeside on the nights of 3rd and 4th of July to break the journey from Carsington Water to home in Redruth Cornwall. A journey of some 330 miles. The site was only a few minutes from the junction 26 on the M5. It's a small site next to a huge caravan storage site. There was an excellent dog walk round the perimeter of the storage area where dogs could run free. The site is beautifully kept by the lovely couple that run it. Loads of flowers round reception. Ther are no toilets or showers but there is the usual service point for water, rubbish etc and set back is a chemical toilet emptying point. It was only £14 a night but well worth it. I think we shall use it again if we are travelling a long way North again.

We've used it often for the same reason.

What with a Marstons eaterie down the road and Chelston Motorhomes nearby with their big accessory shop, and two supermarkets in Wellington, there’s not much lacking.
