We knew that limited facilities were available before our arrival but what was available was well kept and very clean (5 ticks for cleanliness). There is clearly a lot of effort to keep the site neat and tidy and we felt very comfortable. Friendly staff. We were visitiing friends in the area and we would certainly return when visiting them again but if not for that reason or as a stopover, it's not really a destination. The dog area on site is perfectly adequate and there are walks close by but not really any directly from the site (Wellington Tower about 3 miles away and convenient to exercise the dog). There was some noise from trains quite late into the evening but not too disturbing and there was also a vocal Cockerel that woke us early each morning.
