Just back after 3 x night stay. Booked a fully serviced pitch which was great. Warm welcome and wealth of local knowledge. Showers very clean and well maintained, Got great tv reception with van aerial but no Wi-Fi was challenging!! Loved sites position in former quarry. Only fault was site obviously on flight path and bit noisy at times, Easy walk down into Buxton (35 mins) / bit longer coming back up hill. Terrible timing for visit to Buxton as entire town filled with noisy funfair - local residents hated it and even closed pubs early as a lot of trouble!! Loved nearby Bakewell and Chatsworth House and fabulous Farm Shop.
