Stayed at the site for two nights, mid week. Staff were helpful, polite and obviously cared about the site. The facilities were spotless and everything was open. The shop stocked a good range of fresh food and there was a curry van that night (Thursday). We cycled from the site and enjoyed two days of wonderful routes. It was quite difficult to get to the quieter areas as there are no ‘cycle friendly’ lanes on the main road from the site, which was very busy with large lorries. However this did not detract from the excellent cycling we found. Our only disappointment, again, was the club WiFi - poor speed, difficult to get on to and generally very poor! As this site has limited phone coverage on some networks a good WiFi connection is important! To finish, the quarry that the site is nestled in is lit up at night and gives a lovely ambiance - sitting out in warmer weather would be a joy! The site is well worth a visit!
