My partner, dog and I stayed for 2 nights last weekend for the first time. We weren't sure what it would be like being in an old quarry but we really loved the location and the easy access to the very nearby country park and other walks. Buxton centre was 35 minutes walk (40 coming back due to the steep slope through the woods) and is very interesting with numerous shops and things to do. The site itself was clean, seemed well looked after and the staff were friendly. As mentioned by others there was no wi-fi but we knew about that before we booked so it was expected and no issue for us.
