Super Site

We stayed at Buxton in the middle of June when it rained every day. However this did not detract from us having a great time. The setting is dramatic, being in a disused quarry. The site is extremely well kept as usual in a Caravan Club site and the wardens are very helpful and friendly. The location is ideal for visiting all the attractions of the Peaks and we are looking forward to returning. My only negative comment is about the wash block. It is kept spotless but it does need an upgrade. The water pressure is a bit low and if you have long hair (like my wife) it is a bit of a challenge to rinse thoroughly if you don't manage to get a cubicle with a detachable shower head. That said, it would not put us off going back because in all other respects it is a super site. An added bonus is the dog walks. You have any number of great walks from the site and our Buster also had a great time. In short, I would highly recommend a stay.
