Our first stay at Buxton and it won't be our last - we really couldn't recommend the staff more highly; very friendly welcome and we were so impressed with the site at first impressions, we booked a second night. It's clear that the facilities have recently been refurbished and they're of a very high standard. Some other reviews comment about pitches not being level, but I have to say that most we saw would be easy to pitch on and our own was perfectly level. There are plenty of things to do nearby - this is a very pretty site in a lovely setting and within close walking distance of the town. Be ready for the walk back up the hill though - and for those who don't want to face the climb back, the thoughtful site staff have arranged rates with a local taxi firm. First class!
