We visited this site after seeing a photograph in a flyer from the Caravan Club and we are glad we did. Beautiful location, as we walk a lot. Friendly and helpful wardens who work very hard to make your stay relaxing. You could, if you enjoy walking, park up and not use the car again if you are only there for a few days. Bring a bike with you and everything is available - you will need a lock! The toilet block, although adequate and very clean could do with a update. Apart from the obvious major holiday periods getting a pitch would not we presume be a problem. Well worth the 3.5 hour drive, so much to do - we will be back as we love what the whole area has to offer.
