First time at the site and wont be the last! Beautiful setting and well protected from wind, the site is immaculate and very well set out, toilet facilities, laundry etc are fantastic and very clean. Plenty of walks around the site but bikes are not allowed so if you wanted to cycle you'd need to head out on the road.Fish and chip van on a Saturday was really good, plenty fish. Lots to do in the area, 40 mins from Alton Towers and Heights of Abrahm at Matlock Bath is a great day out and there is Go Ape, Pooles cavern and Karting all close to the site. The wardens are the best I've ever encountered in my 10 years with the Club and made our stay perfect. We stayed for 14 nights and I still can't fault anything.
