Just returned from a short stay at Buxton Site; this was our first time here and is by far our most favourite Site. The location is beautiful and within walking distance to Buxton through an easy to follow woodland walk. Buxton is stunning and well worth a visit. There are many beautiful walks from the site and in particular if you are lucky to have nice weather, a walk to "Solomon's Temple" (close to the Site) to watch the sunset is well worth it. Just stunning!! The Site is so peaceful and spotless with excellent shower/toilet block and the Wardens are so friendly.  We shall definitely return.
