Lovely site - shame about some of the guests
We were booked on here from 21st to 28th July and were lucky enough to find a lovely pitch with a great view. At the start of the holiday, everything was perfect but as the days went on, with people leaving and new people arriving, the whole ambience of the place changed from one of serenity to one of mayhem. The people either side of us were absolutely fine but some of the people in other units showed a total disregard for the rules and a lack of common courtesy one would hope to find on a CaMC site. Firstly, there were a few units with music that was clearly audible from our pitch. Secondly, there were children riding bicycles at break neck speed around the site wherever they wanted - including between the pitches. At times, the road resembled a race track and we were worried that it was only a matter of time before there was an accident as there had already been a couple of toddlers fall off their bikes. We didn't dare intervene and we didn't report this to the wardens because we know they can't do anything unless they witness it happening. We just left site earlier than planned as we couldn't stand being there any more. I realise that we were on the site in the school holidays and that everyone has been cooped up at home for a long time but there is no excuse for making other people's lives a misery. Unfortunately, I suspect that most of the problems were down to non-members who probably won't read this review and have no idea that their behaviour isn't what is expected on a CaMC site.
