I have been visiting this site for several years. I was surprised all this season when on the web site, it states full. We were there this weekend 10/6. The site was probably 2/3 empty, but still showing only 1 availability. Someone we spoke to had said their in-laws had tried to book but couldn't. Does anyone know the reason for this? ALSO £1.95 for 6 eggs. They must be yolking.

The Buxton Site is currently limited to run at 75% capacity due to ongoing electrical problems with the mains supply into the site. The Caravan Club has taken steps in limiting the pitches available, to ensure that those members who are on site can hopefully retain their electrical supply for the duration of their stay and enjoy their holiday to the full. The Caravan Club also took steps to have a generator on site during the Bank Holiday weekend in order to avoid having to cancel members holidays.
