Good site

We stayed for a week in May. We had a lot of rain (it is the Peak District after all!) but managed to not get too wet. This site is very good with dogs as there are excellent walks right from the edge of the site, and a dog wash onsite. We visited some interesting places fairly near and will certainly stay here again to explore more. Only 2 minor issues for us: the wifi is really, really poor, verging on non-existent. So slow as to be effectively useless. The second is that, because parts of the site are laid out in a series of cul-de-sacs, there can sometimes be a bit of a hike to the services. Not too much of a problem, just a bit of a pain. And we did note some people who could not resist following the direct route, through others' pitches. Not good. Tip: the recommended taxi service to/from Buxton is by a very accommodating Glaswegian and is great! Overall: recommended.
