We live 45 minutes away but wanted to spend a bit more time in the area. Stayed for 5 nights. The site is easy to get to and is tucked away in the quarry. We managed to get a pitch away from the stone face so did not feel closed in at all. The new facilities were nice although I would like to see a magnification mirror in the gents washing rooms. We walked through the woods to Buxton which was very pleasant, the site has excellent maps to give directions on the route. Overall very pleased with the site and will definitely return.
