The site is well positioned for touring the Peaks and access into the site was easy from Leek.  Hard standing is the only choice, but there is plenty of space between the motor homes/caravans.  Remember to pack sturdy pegs, as the wind does wip up from the quarry. Our only complaint was the lack of service points..making the trip for water or waste a little trek if you're at the far end of the site. One thing to mention...midges. Pack your insect repellent.  Not sure if this is the norm for the Peaks, but we were bitten daily and the fly screens in the caravan a must.
