We started off our two week holiday in our campervan this year at Buxton arriving on 14th September. We previously stayed here about 15 years ago in our caravan and loved it then but the improvements are fantastic facillities excellent and wardens very helpfull and welcoming. We pitched opposite the quarry face and love watching the crows. We put out our small bird feeder and were entertained by a variety of small birds. We liked the fact we could get out and about and not move the camper. We visited Pooles Cavern on the Sunday and walked into Buxton on the Monday but got the £6.00 taxi back. Well recommended hope to visit again.
