After mistakenly arriving at Buxton when we should have been at The Firs (long story), the wardens, who had enough to contend with already, found us a space, booked us in and cancelled our original booking.
Can’t thank them enough and our ‘mistake’ ended up as the best mistake we’ve ever made as Buxton is an absolute gem for walkers and if you’ve a dog, it’s doggy heaven.
