Conveniently located for easy access to the best features of the beautiful Peak District, yet nestled peacefully away in the idyllic valley floor, Buxton Club Campsite is the perfect location for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of modern life whilst having easy access to modern comforts. The small, pretty town of Buxton is within walking distance of the campsite, home to the historic Pavilion Gardens set within 23 acres of beautifully rich scenery and an abundance of restaurants and shops. There are towns to explore in all directions, including the market towns of Leek & Ashbourne.
At Buxton Club Campsite you will be surrounded by the superb Peak District National Park - with its extensive network of cycle ways, this is the ideal destination for those keen to see the best of England's rolling landscapes, whether by bike or by foot. Hikers can relish in reaching the summit of Grin Hill where they can witness the Solomon’s Temple and spectacular views of Buxton and High Peak. If you fancy a stroll on a rainy day, a full set of splendid stately homes can be found situated near to the campsite, all rich with local history. You will also have the opportunity to absorb the many local customs that are preserved to this day, such as the folk art of "Well Dressing" - an ancient form of flower arrangement that dates from Pagan times.

We loved the swift check in with numberplate recognition. Lots of little areas so you feel as if you are on a small site. Wonderful facilities. Local walks from the site even in to Buxton through woodland.

Should be five stars for everything, but free Wi Fi is very hit and miss...mainly miss. This is not the first site where Wi Fi is disfunctional. If it is advertised then it should be delivered.
