We went midweek so nice & quiet for our first stay. Fabulous site & facilities & staff. The Taxi service was a fantastic option to have if you needed it. It was well laid out & planned, the weather was fair to bad but that didn't stop us enjoying our stay. We didn't bother with WiFi & as didn't want to pay for it when we could sit in a pub with a beer & free wifi. Think we will try a pitch facing the quarry face next time as we couldn't get a TV/Dab signal but it may be our van. Walked to & from Buxton everyday so we could enjoy the vast array of local beers/ales & foods without having to drive or park. Plenty to do & see, nice walks & scenery. People were very friendly & we will definitely go back again. Great if you have a dog, think we will borrow one iwhen we go again! Highley recommended.
