We last stayed at this site 2 years ago & liked it then but after refurbishment, it's excellent. Site is in a beautiful location up above Buxton, next to the Country Park, from where there are fabulous views across the peaks.You can walk into the centre of town in about 30 minutes but it's uphill a lot of the way back. You can get a taxi back at a special price for members if you wish. We had Sunday lunch at The Duke Pub at Burbage, on the way into Buxton by road. Lovely food & good service, recommended. The shower & toilet block is lovely & modern & kept spotlessly clean as on all club sites. We enjoyed our stay & will be back one day.
