Beautiful Buxton
Went here August 2015 with our 8 year old granddaughter. The approach to the site is well signposted and a easy drive.
You are left to drive round and choose your own pitch which is not always the case at CC sites which is nice. Most pitches are fairly flat but some do have a bit of a slope and some are bigger than others. We parked near the children's playground.
The toilet/shower block is typical CC which is one of the reasons we stay in the club sites. However, although clean you just felt they were starting to get a bit tired and they are quite a walk for those who may have to park at the other end of the park. Can't fault the hot water though, it was scalding!
The site is so picturesque in a beautiful part of the world with quite a lot to do round about. We only stopped 3 nights so limited ourselves to going the the super Bakewell Show and a walk into Buxton.
Overall we will come back even if it's for the breathtaking view as you leave the site heading back to the main road!!
