A visit to Grin Low
Another lease up for renewal? Our stay was very quiet, pitches were out of use due to pressure on the faulty electricity supplies and some showers etc closed. Thankfully no generators to disturb the peace but the site is not working at capacity. We liked the site and hope the CC can continue to use it in the future. The local walks are great and good weather meant a nice stroll up to Solomon's Temple. Another walk took us down into Buxton itself and into the attractive Pavillion Gardens. There was a craft and plant sale on but our uphill walk on the way back curbed any purchases! There is some development work going on in the town, a pity as it's nice place to stroll around. On our return we stopped off at the Poole Cavern cafe and we were pleased to find they welcomed dogs which saved us sitting outside in the damp. Hope we can return again, Derbyshire is a place we like to visit.
