We visited this site for the first time just after the Bank holiday weekend. We already knew two of the wardens which was one of the reasons for our choice. The reception was excellent and the briefing clear and full. As has been mentioned by previous reviewers the facilities were spotless. I must agree that the showers were under powered but not the fault of the club. Walking to Buxton was not an option for us, but a local taxi firm has a flat fare of £5. The only dislike we have is that we feel that the pitches are cramped. Some of the caravans had a little difficulty in getting on to their pitch. Would we go again? YES.
