Burrs Park is one of our “Go to” sites for weekends away as it’s close to home and we never fail to have a good time. Facilities are spotless and the site as a whole is always very well maintained. We visited last weekend and had the usual great time until my back seized up on Saturday night, meaning I was unable to pack anything up let alone drive home on Sunday morning. (I usually get to site Friday and set up before my wife and daughter arrive after school). After speaking to the wardens about the situation, they could not have been more helpful, and told us not to worry, leave everything on site, go home and get better and collect the caravan and tow vehicle when I was better. They would keep an eye on everything for us and their main concern was for me to get home and get better. We returned today to collect the caravan and the wardens were genuinely concerned about my welfare. They are a credit to the club and I can not thank them enough for the compassion shown and for keeping an eye on everything while we were absent. We will be back again soon hopefully.
