We made two seperate overnight stops here to and from the North. The standard of facilities is very good and cleanliness excellent - reading other reviews we did not encounter any dog related issues, all dogs seen were on leads and under control. At night it was surprisingly quiet. There are some pitches which back onto the Brown Cow pub and with COVID restrictions in place there was a little noise of music and people in the garden. We had no problems with access to this site. Following the directions given (you have to pay attention!) we found the access fine, but in high season it might prove difficult if the cobbled road is busy with park visitors. The only downside to our visit here was getting through Bury which is busy and traffic jams were frequent.
