Stayed for four days last week and after shaking over the cobbled approach,settled onto a lovely large pitch overlooking the railway. The toilet facilities were immaculate and the wardens answered all queries with a smile. The information hut was well worth a browse! A 30 minute walk takes you into Bury where you can sample the atmosphere of the traditional market or high street shops. The tram link to Manchester takes half an hour,costing £5 to use across the service - great value. Will definitely visit again to try out the adjacent pub and walks in the country park.
