This used to be my favourite weekend getaway site, 30 mins up the road and i`ve been going regularly for the past 10yrs, but i won`t be returning until the current set of wardens have moved on ! They are the most unhelpful, unfriendly and unwelcoming wardens i have ever encountered. Every question/request seemed to be too much trouble, huffing and puffing, we also witnessed other members being berated for really minor indiscretions. Dog owners are made to feel especially unwelcome due to the endless unofficial anti dog notices all over the site . Fortunately we have built up a good list of local CL`s for our weekends so the loss of this site from our list won`t be too hard to take, but hopefully not for too long.
