All you would expect from a club site ie clean, all facilities work, quiet etc. The staff were very friendly and perhaps above average. The only negative observation that I would make was that the male toilet cubicles got busy in the morning and probably could have done with an additional one. That said, they were kept in an immaculate condition. The Brown Cow pub is very convenient as it is situated adjacent to the site gates. The prices are reasonable. Although we have been to this site previously we hadn't previously noticed that the off road cycle path located down Woodhill road goes 2 ways. One way goes to Bury town centre whilst the other goes to the Toby Inn at Greenmount. From here (Toby Inn) you can cycle to Ramsbottom although this stretch is mixed on / off road.
