Super Location with lots of walks from the site, an old pub next to the site and a train station on the East Lancs Historic Railway. Please note though if hoping to watch the Steam Trains go by from the site, they don't run on Mondays or Tuesdays. We didn't bother with Manchester or Bury as we live quite close, the main reason for our stay was to take our new puppy in our Motorhome. We have always said how much people enjoy their dogs while on site nut felt that the number of notices all around this site aimed at dog owners left us feeling a little that the wardens don't really like dogs. We've never noticed signs before but then again have never taken a dog. Our dog was well behaved and we didn't have a problem so no worries. A lovely peaceful site in a very interesting locatoin.
