Stayed here quite a few times as it is just down the road and perfect for a quick getaway. We have not managed to get a spot for the last couple of years but were pleasantly surprised to see everything in order and no great changes since our last visit. New Wardens had everything under control and as usual the site was spotless. One noticeable difference was the fact that boards had been erected asking people not to walk through others pitches that were totally ignored. I feel the the "Pitch Etiquette" of old has, unfortunately, become a thing of the past along with the demise of the caravan. I believe Motorhome and Caravan Club would better describe the club today! Anyway. Site superb, Wardens excellent and there are Steam trains. Highly recommended along with the Beef and Onion Baguette from the Brown Cow just off site :-)
