One of the Best

Just returned from a 5 night stay here and our first stay on a caravan club owned site. You approach the site through a housing estate and you start to question your thinking ..... BUT don't .. it is a fantastic site and the best we have stayed on to date (been touring just 6 months). My wife writes a journal for our trips and this got 95/100. Its very handy for Bury, 25 min walk on footpaths. The Brown Cow pub is, in effect, on site and very good. Beer is excellent (real ale)and food is basic but wholesome and good value ... £11 for a mixed grill or 8oz sirloin. It is SPOTLESSLY clean and I loved the steam train that runs along its fenceline. Bury Market is brilliant and the meat and fish hall is open daily. We have a large dog and there are loads of places to walk him including the country park on the doorstep which is set up for dogs. We would definitely return here. We only paid £20 a night for a fully serviced pitch in half term, 2 adults and 2 kids and one BIG dog!!!
