Friendly check in ladies at reception until I realised I had forgot to take my credit card in to pay “ did I not think I would have to pay” . Whalen driving round choosing a pitch was stopped by a very rude man doing some strumming and instead of just politely asking us to do 5 miles an hour( we weren’t even out of first gear on an automatic) he sarcastically said in a nasty tone Silverstone is a 136 miles that way if you want to do that speed. Grass needs cutting didn’t see anyone cutting grass the 3 days we where there. I know due to COVID there are reduced faculties, only 2 people allowed in at a time for showers and toilet therefore having to wait for someone to finish a shower to use the loo. Only 2 out of the Many toilets where open, only cleaned once a day and everyone on site had to use the same 2 toilets with only one open sink to wash hands. This may be the standard at all sites but doesn’t seem hygienic to me if no increased Cleaning is taking place. The site itself is nice just don’t think the wardens are reading their reviews. PS I don’t normally feel the need to write a bad reviews.
