Nice site, spoiled by rude warden

We love the location of Burrs, but had our stay completely spoiled on this occasion by the rudeness of the dog obsessed warden. Every time we left the caravan we were followed and harassed about our dog and where he might go. As responsible dog owners we clear away our dogs mess thoroughly and dispose of in allocated bins, located outside of the site at Burrs. We were also told our dog could not go on the grass, ridiculous to suggest the state of the grass is due to dogs. The grass near our pitch had muddy tire marks everywhere from gardening machinery used badly. I did use the dog walks off site, but expect my dog to be exercised on site as well. Disgusted, offended and will not return here.

On another note, also not happy that the silver rated wifi, that is paid for and not free, didn't work at all.

Well if you think it acceptable to exercise your dog on site that is probably not a bad thing from my point of view

I was going to book this site for a week in October but will look for somewhere a bit more dog friendly

We stayed at Burrs last weekend - there were a lot of dogs being excercised on site, off the lead. We found a pile of dog mess on our pitch, behind our caravan on Sunday morning - I cleared it up and reported it to the wardens who told me it's a continuing problem. The wardens are not dog unfriendly, they just have a problem with irresponsible dog owners.
