Nice site for a stop over as well as longer stay

We stayed 2 nights here before heading to the Lake District, fantastic wardens and the site was busy as the Bury Show was on Sunday 27th (we left on the 26th) Our pitch was nice, large and level and the site was extremely clean and well presented. During our stay we walked into Bury (25-30 mins) and shopped at the excellent Bury Fish and Meat Market....a must visit.... Bury is a nice town and the Ice cream parlour at the nearby Farm is also a must do visit and a Jersey milk ice cream enjoyed. And then we come to the gripes.....the usual Speeding on site...which I cannot abide or get why fellow campers cannot get.....and has been also mentioned (not just at Burrs I hasten to add) the wristband system, good as it is....never gets used correctly...I went into use the loo and popped my wristband from bucket to peg....went in and low and behold...it was full...I despair.... The club are doing all they can with this Covid protection for site users....why can't site users also play the game and work with the club and fellow campers.... We'll be back
